What is Aseptic Technique and why is it important?
Aseptic technique is the procedure which is used in a scientific laboratory in order to keep microbes from spreading and becoming contaminated, i.e. to keep the laboratory sterile. In hospital operating rooms and laboratories, this effort to keep the environment sterile is vital. One mistake could cause contamination, mixups, infection or even loss of life.
